‘Readings in Nonviolence’ features extracts from our favourite books, pamphlets, articles or other material on nonviolence, or reviews of important works in the field (suggestions welcome).
Introduced by Roberta Bacic
For the last four months INNATE has been
introducing non-violence by the way of the arts. We have shared pieces that
tackle this topic from different angles: “Transforming arms into art”, “Music
and peace”, “Quilts and arpilleras” and last month “Art, war, politics”.
This month we are delighted to have a piece
that shares with us a concrete experience that has taken place in Catalonia,
Spain, and which has a concrete outcome – a CD - that might well help building
bridges between different communities. It goes further than that; the process
of shared experience between people from different parts of the world who are
trying to build community is something we would also like to highlight. If you
wish to get hold of the “Aiguallum, Voices of Diversity” CD, please contact Alba
